To behave is to act in a particular way, especially to be good.

رفتار کردن یعنی به‌طور خاصی عمل کردن، به‌خصوص خوب بودن.

She always behaves well when her father is around.

او همیشه وقتی پدرش دوروبرش است خوب رفتار می‌کند.

When someone is calm, they do not get excited or upset.

To be content is to be happy and not want more.

راضی بودن یعنی خوشحال بودن و بیشتر نخواستن.

The baby looked very content sitting on the floor.

کودک همان طور که روی زمین نشسته بود خیلی راضی به نظر می‌رسید.

If you expect something to happen, you believe it will happen.

اگر انتظار داشته باشید چیزی اتفاق بیفتد، باور دارید که اتفاق می‌افتد.

I expect the bus to be here very soon.

انتظار دارم اتوبوس خیلی زود برسد.

When something happens frequently, it happens often.

اگر چیزی مرتباً اتفاق بیفتد، یعنی اغلب اتفاق می‌افتد.

اگر مردم صبور باشند، به‌راحتی عصبانی یا ناراحت نمی‌شوند.

من مجبور بودن صبور باشم و تا ساعت ۵ منتظر بمانم و بعد بروم.

If something is positive, it is good.

اگر چیزی مثبت باشد، یعنی خوب است.

She has a positive future ahead of her after finishing college.

او آینده‌ی مثبتی را پس از اتمام دانشگاه در پیش رو دارد.

To punish means to make someone suffer for breaking the rules or laws.

To represent is to speak or act for a person or group.

نماینده بودن یعنی برای کسی یا گروهی از افراد صحبت یا عمل کردن.

My lawyer will represent me in court.

وکیل من نماینده‌ی من در دادگاه است.

shake

To shake is to move back and forth or up and down quickly.

تکان دادن یعنی چیزی را سریع جلو و عقب، یا بالا و پایین بردن.

When people shake hands, it usually means they agree.

وقتی مردم دست می‌دهند، معمولاً به این معناست که موافقند.

To spread is to move out to cover a larger area.

پخش کردن یعنی حرکت دادن برای پوشاندن ناحیه‌ی بزرگ‌تر.
