بازم اسم اون جایزه هه چی بود؟

To be “over the moon” means to be extremely happy about something.

عبارت «over the moon» یعنی حسابی واسه چیزی خوشحالی کردن.

This expression likely comes from a short children’s poem from the 16th century “hey, diddle, diddle.

این اصطلاح احتمالا از یه شعر کوتاه کودکانه در قرن شونزدهم به اسم «hey, diddle, diddle» اومده.

But we don’t really know why “over the moon” came to mean what it does today.

ولی واقعا نمی دونیم چرا عبارت «over the moon-بر فراز ماه» امروزه این معنی رو میده.
